Frequently asked questions

Practical answers before you open the form.

The detailed commission terms remain available separately; these answers cover the most common customer questions.

Does submitting the form create an order?

No. Preparing an email does not confirm that a commission has been accepted and does not commit either side to proceed.

What is currently available?

ABS-like resin is available. Wax resin is a planned capability for mould-making and casting workflows, and filament printing is planned for larger practical objects. Wax-resin and filament commissions are not yet accepted.

Do I need to already own a 3D model?

No. The form includes the option: “I do not currently own or have a 3D model file, but I am open to discussing suitable options.” The model description is optional and further information can be gathered during the follow-up email discussion.

How are model files supplied?

The website does not upload files. Add STL, 3MF, OBJ or ZIP files in your email app after the draft opens, or include a suitable working download link.

What happens if I am unsure about printing permission?

Select the printing-rights review option. The request is flagged for manual review and is not treated as authorised or ready for production until the rights have been considered.

Can I request Collection?

Yes. Collection arrangements, including the collection location and an agreed date and time, are confirmed during the follow-up email discussion after the request has been reviewed.

How is Postage handled?

Postage and packaging charges are calculated separately and confirmed before payment. A delivery address is requested only when Postage is selected.

How are large quantities handled?

Large-capacity orders may be supported, but may require additional time depending on item size, printer availability and any post-processing work required. Larger commissions cannot be guaranteed where sufficient capacity is unavailable. We are happy to discuss realistic quantities, timescales and staged production options openly before anything is agreed.

Does the website store the form?

No. The form operates locally in the browser, shows a preview and prepares an email. The workshop receives the request only after the customer sends that email.

Still need an answer?
