Finecast Metal is currently experimental and undergoing practical testing. Any specifications, supported materials, design limitations, pricing and availability shown before launch are provisional and may change.

The service is expected to build upon the Lost-Resin Burnout Master Patterns process, using suitable resin master patterns as part of the development workflow.
Testing is being used to establish reliable material choices, model limits, preparation methods, casting consistency, cleanup requirements, finishes, production times and realistic pricing.
A current lost-resin master-pattern order supplies the resin pattern only. It does not include Finecast Metal or any other metal-casting work.
